Another bluffer for the books, taking advantage of people and who can be found hanging around Aberdeenshire giving shit dits of being an ex para and working for Police, fire, ambo, coastguard or whatever the cluck he dreams up that week.

Goes by any combination of the names John Charmers or Darren Charmers Pirie Chalmers or Mr Ben.

And has previous for impersonating a police officer.

Since being convicted of that crime Chalmers has been bounced for claiming to be a coastguard and has now turned his sights on the Parachute regiment for his latest claim as there’s currently no crime impersonating members of the armed forces.

Chalmers was reported to us a few weeks back after a member notched he was making claims about his military background as a Paratrooper.

His Tick Tock account Obviously not the first time Chalmers has been caught out.

Chalmers was clearly claiming to be a member of the Parachute Regiment and had used the art of subtle walt suggestions to make such claims on social media.

We checked his name through our contacts and he had never served.

We attempted to reach out to Chalmers but he was not keen to talk to us. Not sure why!
